My Unforgetable Memory

Hello!

This time, I want to tell you about my unforgetable memory.

When I was six years old, my family and I moved to Bitung, North Sulawesi. My father had to work there, so we stayed in Bitung. Actually, we had to stay there for two years. But we only stayed there for 6 months. There were a lot of factors why we only stayed there for six months. One of the factors was the weather. Bitung is different from Bandung, it has a hot weather. My family could not survive because it was really hot there. Beside that. I have a lot of best memories in Bitung.

As I moved to Bitung, I had to start my elementary school. I studied in 2 National Elementary School Bitung. But i only survived there for a few weeks because it is pretty bad school. I had to walk up the bridge to arrive at schoool. And if its raining seasons, there was always flood.

Because the first school is pretty bad, I moved to another school. The school's name is Katolik Elementary School. This school is better that the first one. There was a lesson that you had to make a doll, I made one. Actually, I didn't make the doll, my mother did. And there are a loot of delicious food in cafeteria, but I barely came there. The bad part in that school was my teacher. She is nice, but if there was a bad student, she would hit them by a long wood ruler. I got hit once...

My best memory in Bitung was my friends. I had a lot of friends there, they were nice and easy going. We always played together. We always hunted a small crab in the sewer. Yes, there were a lot of little crab there. We had a lot of adventures together.

Sadly, there was no mall near my house, so we could not hang out top the mall. But my father usually took my family to Manado, there was a mall there. Not just a mall, we went to Bunaken too. It was really beautiful there. Blue sea, white sands (but not clean), and a lot of dogs. There were a lot of tourists too. When my sister played in the beach, she saw a big starfish, it colour was pink just like Patrick from Spongebob but have some black dots around its body. At first, my sister and I wanted to take it home, but there was no place for a big starfish like that, so we agreed to take a small one. Unfortunatelly, it died when we arrived home. Maybe it was because we put it in a small cup. Beside of Bunaken, we visited another beach that I forgot the name is. It was cleaner than Bunaken, and quiter than Bunaken. We made a sand castles there, but we failed. But it was really relaxing there. We only stayed in Manado for a few days, and the we went back home.

So, these are my unforgetable memories in Bitung. We only stayed there for six monts, then we came back to Bandung but my father. He stayed there for two years because he worked there. He usually visited Bandung once a month to see us. But one year later, he moved to Jakarta. So, he visited my family once a week.

My Favorite Places

Hello!
This time, I want to tell you about my favourite place.

My favourite place is Bali. I already visited Bali once. It is a really beautiful place and wonerful scenery.

My favourite place in Bali is Kuta Beach. It is known as sunset beach. It has a really beautiful scenery and very relaxing.

My second favourite place in Bali is Garuda Wisnu Kencana. There are a huge statue of God Wisnu and a huge statue of mythical bird Garuda. People said that there will be a huge statue of God Wisnu riding Garuda, but I don't know when they start to built it. The statue of God Wisnu is only from head to stomach. And the statue of Garuda is only it's head.

These are my favourite places in Bali, and I hope that I can go back there. I hope that I can see the big statue of God Wisnu riding Garuda in the future.

MEGANTARA

Hello again!

This time, I want to tell you about Megantara Culture Festival.

Megantara is a culture festival that held by 3 National Senior Highschool. That was held on Saturday, September 10th 2016. Everyone could come, they just had to pay thirty-five thousand rupiah. Before the festival started, the students of 3 Senior Highschool had held a parade. We walked from Bali Street and walked through Belitung Street, Sumatera Street, Aceh Street, and back to Bali street. The parade was not only for 3 National Senior Highschool students, there are also kindergarten students. All 3 National Senior Highschool wore Sundanesse traditional dress, kebaya for girls and pangsi for boys.

The parade ended at 9 o'clock. Because the culture festival's open gate was at 10 o'clock, I went to Bandung Indah Plaza Mall with my sister just to waste my time. I wasted my time at the mall for 3 hours. Then, I came back to Bali field where the 'Megantara' was held. It wasn't too crowded there. I knew that everyone would come at the evening. At Megantara, I wasn't waiting for RAN nor The Cangcuters, I was waiting for Tiloe's Theater(TS'T) performances. There were a lot of performances, such as fashion show, karawitan, wayang, 'Musik Klasik', and angklung performances(KPA).

Around 3 o'clock, the field started to full of people. I met a lot of my old friends. I met my bestfriends there. My sister and I bought a lot of food, such as fried pizza, ice cream, tempe mendoan, soda, and many others. I was still waiting for Tiloe's Theater at 5 o'clock. Unfortunately, I had to go home at 6. So, I came home at 6.30. Sadly, my friends told me that Tiloe's Theater performance was at 6 o'clock, and I missed it.

At home, I took a shower and then went to sleep.

World Tournament and Techno-Fest

Hello, I am Meisha. This time, I am going to tell you about World Tournament and Techno-Fest (WTTF).

On Saturday August 20th 2016, Bandung 3 National Senior Highschool held an event called World Tournament and Techno-Fest or WTTF. The event started from 7 am until 3 pm. The events had some games for everyclass. So, each class had to play the games as a team. My team is team 9, consisting class 11 science 9 and 10 science 9. Each team had two facilitators. the facilitators would lead us on playing games. They told us the rules. One of the rules was we should use english if we speak. They gave us a maps about the place that we were going to visit and to play some games. And the facilitators said that if we saw one of the aliens (a person wearing rain coat/ poncho), we must throw a water balloon at them, so we could get a piece of puzzle.

The first place that my team visited was Tongkeng Garden. We played a game there. The game was making a robot from a cardboard/box. The tools we could use were doubletape, scissor, and two straws. It was a competition between 10 science 9 and 11 science 9. My team was 10 science 9. We tried hard to make a robot from that tools. Unfortunately, 11 science 9 won and my team lost. The winner got a piece of puzzle as appreciation. Then 10 science 9 and 11 science 9 moved to the next place.

The next place was Photography Garden. There we played twister game. So, there is something like carpet that has 24 circles. The circles have their own colours. There are 6 green, 6 red, 6 blue, and 6 yellow circles. Then instuction of the game is we put our hands or feet on the circles appropriate intruction from the spinner holder. Well, team 10 science 9 won! We got a piece of puzzle.

Then, we moved back to school. There, we watched a short movie and thought about the main of the movie. There were eating games too. One of our teammates play that game. The game was easy, we just had to eat a little portion of spicy noodles. And, 10 science 9 won again. There were still a lot of games, such as playing games like flappy bird, second rank etc. The end of the game was we had to snatch some pieces of puzzles from the aliens. 10 science 9 collected 7 pieces of puzzles.

The last events was bringing together the puzzles. They divided into two teams. There were team 3'2018 and 3'2019. The puzzles formed an astronout picture. Then, there was announcement about the winner. Unfortunately, my class didn't won as  the class with the best teamwork. But then, 3'2019 won as the best teamwork. After that, the seniors closed the event at 3.00. And then, all students went home.
